Museum-Quality Art Prints — Priced Fairly
Landscape, Southern Alps
Soft clouds over quiet fields
Beneath a vast sky, the land opens out towards the Southern Alps. Two small figures and a few huts are all that show a human presence in this quiet watercolour by John Gully, painted in 1873 on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.
